making this game means the world to me
OMORI is a surreal psychological horror RPGmaker game. You must travel between two worlds, both welcoming, both concealing the same secrets. Meet new (old) people, fight new (old) enemies, explore your own memories, and uncover some hidden truths along the way (although you wish you hadn’t.) When the time comes, you can only choose one.
OMORI is a character has been described as a “depressed otaku.”He started off as a character who lived on a blog, which lasted from December 2011 until March 2012.
OMOCAT always envisioned OMORI as a game; and with the help of some friends (and you), the OMORI video game can be brought to life.
hi everyone! now that i’ve graduated college (YAYYYY!!!), it’s time to prepare for convention season
this year, i’ll be attending ACEN (exhibit/dealer’s hall), FANIME (artist’s alley), and AX (exhibit/dealer’s hall)
if you are attending any of these conventions, let me know what you would like me to bring!! (you can reply to this post or send me a message)
summer line will not be released in time for ACEN and FANIME, but i will have some new clothing in stock for AX! i will also have a new limited edition OMOCAT ARTBOOK and really ghetto laptop setup where you can try out the demo of my new game, OMORI (kickstarter will be launching in the next few days)
anyway, i’ll have posters, prints, clothing, and buttons for the most part, a free OMOCAT sticker with every purchase and a free OMOCAT apparel catalog with every crewneck purchase. i will also most likely not have all my poster work on display, but i will make binders so you can flip through!
it’s difficult to transport so many items and i don’t want to overstock or understock, so i would really appreciate any input!
for FANIME, i’ll have a very limited space because i will only have an artist’s alley booth, so if you would like to purchase something specific at that convention, please let me know!!
OMOCAT is finally graduating college!! (*~*~this saturday 4/19~*~*)
the ceremony is at 4:00pm PST but parking space is very limited and you may need a parking permit to attend! however the graduation showcase is open during and after the ceremony and will be open to all guests. the showcase officially starts after the ceremony at 6:00PM.
i will be displaying most of my clothing, my new art book, catalog, the pretty boy booklet, as well as debuting the trailer for my upcoming video game OMORI. the OMORI kickstarter is planned to go live this weekend!! i’ll also be giving out some free OMOCAT and OMORI button pins if anyone is interested :>
to attend the grad show, you will need to park at lot K of the rose bowl:
1001 rose bowl dr, pasadena, CA 91103
there is a shuttle that will take you to my school (art center college of design) that runs from 5:00PM-11:00PM within 10 minute intervals. no parking permit is required to park at the rose bowl.
i would highly recommend this event if you’d like to check out a bunch of talented artists (and maybe talk to me?) :>
see you there!
PS: i will update this post with any new updates, so please check back if you plan to attend!
